Rascal Flatts were on TOTP2 laST night and so was GB, they seem to have stolen one of his video ideas for their song where they sing in the rain, he did that 15 years ago on Thunder Rolls, but they were ok, I may look at some of there other stuff,

I don't think singing in the rain is an original idea to Garth Brooks.
Gene Kelly did it back in the 50's long before Garth was born. ;-)

Ahhh but Garth doesn't dance and Gene didn't play a guitar in the rain with a band behind him nor wear a stetson, so visually there was no similarity to the Singing In The Rain set routine from the movie, whereas, Rascal Flatts video for their song was an almost spot on imitation of Garth's Thunder Rolls video.
