I can't see it happening - people said years back when cigarettes went over £1 a packet they would stop smoking, but they didn't.

I only had a fag at school.Never since!

why would it lead to a ban on drinking in pubs? surely they are just trying to control the binging rather than stop alcohol consumption

Doesn't bother me, I hardly ever drink. Feel sorry for publicans though.
