roof guard coatings

hi has anybody had any experiance using any of the many" roof coating" firms ??
briefly,the roof is compleatly washed with a power washer,and repaired as needed before being coated with a waterproof, anti fungal coating . many thanks for any suggestions

hi thanks for your reply, my roof is about 45 years old, and its tiled with concreat tiles as far as i can tell

I have to stick my neck out here and say that I've never come across a roof yet that needs "sealing".
The two places where I know it was done, had problems. Mainly with them walking all over the roof to spray it and cracking tiles in the process.
Of course, that isn't inevitable, but even when done properly, the cost is quite ridiculous........... for little or no benefit.

hi again mate thanks for that, ive just watched a vidio of them walking on the roof with the preasure washer,and am inclined to believe that they can do more damage harm then good,the firm in in question is "roof guard", and the quote for my small bunglow is £4600 so i dont think ill be going down that road cheers
