Well I watch them whilst on the laptop so don't pay much attention really but they just seem to have got on my nerves tonight - has EE got new music too?

I only have it on in the background and only noticed tonight that they both seemed a bit different (whilst sounding the same) - wasn't sure if it was me or not (maybe Corrie's has changed as it's now in HD - which looks exactly the same to me!).

I stopped watching the soaps on a regular basis about 3 years ago. I got fed up of the same storylines in both EE and Corrie. And it always peed me off that when a couple got together on one of these they were either married or living together wthin the week.

I'm a loyal fan of both EE and Corrie (I don't watch any others) but you are right sherr, what a load of tosh they're getting. Especially EE tonight nearly an hour of Fat boy & co. I suspect they're trying to attract a younger viewing crowd, so us older ones who have been loyal all these years will drop off.

I have always watched Corrie. I'm not fanatic and don't care if I miss it, but I watch it when I am at home and not doing anything else. I enjoy it for the humour and thats about it. Haven't been watching all this latest silly stuff - it's just too far removed from reality.

Love Steve, Becky Eileen, Graham, Norris and the laughs they bring to the show.

I don't watch any of the other soaps.

I haven't watched Corrie or EE for a while now, such ridiculous story lines!

Apart from the news & some interesting prog's that occasionally appear on channels 1-5, we also watch the History/Crime/Medical channels too - much more entertaining!

All soaps are dribble in my opinion, i prefer something a little more real, i do get the fact it helps with important issues but just so boring to watch in the form that is presented by the tv companies.

i do prefer to either watch the discovary channels or similar as it gives it in a much better form. and you dont get all the plastic actors either.

Good luck to anyone who endures soaps, you are a better person than i am for pain !
