Ouch. Bizarre accident No. 35(a). I've had some stupid accidents in the past - too many to mention or to even remember, but this has to count amongst the top 5 for unimaginable events.

What's the bizarrest accident / injury you've sustained?

And I've ran into walls....!!!
Although.........
Our cat caught Mrs JtH under the eye with a claw, bursting a blood vessel and leaving her with an impressive 'shiner'.
She told everyone at work I'd thumped her !!!
During my very first woodwork class a secondary school I managed to cut myself on the foot with a chisel

Trying to fix a spring in an armchair a couple of years ago the clip holding the spring flew off and imbedded itself in my forehead

I fainted in a department store after shutting my thumb in the car door. I landed in a box of bargain cards after my dad stepped out of the way when he saw me falling towards him - the silly sod was supposed to catch me

My husband managed to dislocate his thumb folding down the pram the day after we brought the girls home from hospital.
Owww to you all!

Mine are mainly falling over or tripping as I have a balance disorder so I have a bit of an excuse lol :)

I took the end of one of my little fingers in a door hinge when I was little. It's still shorter than the other one as it never grew back and ended up getting a tumour on it and had to go to hospital to get it removed.

My dad lost the same finger in a hedgestrimmer incident! He only has a little stub though now.

My mum very badly damaged her fingers falling off a chair while hoovering the top of a wardrobe (???).

I keep telling my brother he's next!!!

I ended up with torn ligaments and in plaster ankle to hip after a shooting competition, was running in a muddy field and went down wrong trying to save my gun from going in the mud then keep on running...not a good idea!
when I fainted in argos not only did my then boyfriend flash my boobs to the world as he grabbed my top but I was also sat in the display chair in the window afterwards
Oh and I can highly recommend not putting spray on hair conditioner in an old water bottle and leaving it near your bed, getting thirsty and forgetting!

My brother stabbed me with a pencil one, the lead broke off it my knee and my dad had to try and fish it out with a needle.

I managed to do a rather too enthusiastic handspring vault once having not noticed the boys hadn't set the vault up properly (though to be fair I was the only gymnast who did proper vaults), unfortunately I hit the concrete gym wall before the floor.
I am a little bit accident prone, my worst incidences include Sanding my finger with an electronic belt sander at school - i let go of the piece of wood i was meant to be sanding! i still have a rather nice scar, some 15 years later. I also slammed my finger in the car door, when i was about 12, was crying in pain so much that i didn't see the cat that was sitting in the drive, so tripped over her, and head butted the garage door, putting my teeth through my lip. - ouch.

My brother nad i used to fight quite a lot, when we were younger, we argued once, so he chased me, i slammed the door in his face and the door knob caught him in the eye, he got more angry so chased me again, i shut another door in his face, and the knob hit in the other eye. He had two cracking black eyes for quite a while.
