have a Q6600 2.4GHZ cpu
I increased the FSB ( cpu host frequency) from 266 (1066mhz) to 300 (1200mhz) and all runs well.
How does this equate to the 2.4GHZ that my CPU was running at.
CPU-Z still shows it at 2.4ghz as does pcwizard.
The multiplyer is locked at x9 and there is no option to increase the 2.4ghz that the cpu runs at.
Should it not show around 2.6ghz now?
Or am i missing something?
