Good luck to you lottie - I was brought up with gallon jars surrounding me as my mother was a champion wine maker - don't drink much of it myself
oh dear home made wine means BIG hangovers sounds like a great use for rhubarb though
Wine should be nice Lottie when ready. What Alcoholic strength is it approx ?
Hi Lottie....nice to see you back :-)

They said it was going to cloudy today but the sun has been shining for the last hour. Hope it stays nice.....

Redman 41 I don't know what strength will be I think you can get a tester kit but am knew to this so its trial and error. My parents home made wine used to be lethal those were the days
Yes very strong - I remember the comments
Buy a hydrometer if you want to work out alcohol strengths. They're only a couple of quid from Homebrew shops or Wilcos etc.
Morning Lottie, cool in Newcastle so I am doing the ironing
Qs...Why is there always more bl00dy ironing when the weather has been warm?
A...Coz we look for stuff to wash...LOL
morning lottie. Another Norfolk'er eh? Seems to be many on AB.

Hope the sun comes out for you later :)
Be careful with that home brew Lottie - my ex used to make it. My goodness it could blow your socks off! I think I largely used it as drain cleaner.
same as you in Norfolk, was bit colder today but sun does keep making an appearance
There's too many East Anglians in this place. I moved to London to escape from the 'tooosday market' brigade ;-)
haha, Bob, are you a Norfolk'er too?
I must have passed you on the A11 then, when I came to Norfolk from the smoke.
And ironically, I became one of the toosedee market traders at Kings Lynn for a while.
Hi Lottie - are you any relation to our other Lottie on here who also hails from Norfolk? She used to be Lofty.....

Whereabouts in Norfolk are you, roughly?
I was just about to ask the same salla.

The other lottie - loftylottie, also lives in North Nofolk & has mentioned on here that she's a pensioner.
