The sunroof on my 1999 Ford Fiesta Encore is leaking.  The driver's footwell fills up with a half inch of water when it rains.  The leak has been traced to the drain channel from the sunroof.  Any ideas how this can be fixed?

Had the same problem with my Orion's metal tilt and slid roof....if you open your sunroof you should see the drainholes towards the front (one either side)

These are connected by plastic/rubber tubes which normally exit around the wheelarch area/bottom of the front wing. Initially i'd check these two areas for a quick fix as they can become easily blocked.

Worse case scenario is that the drain tube has become detached possibly due to the first section (which is metal) having corroded...(you'll have to drop you headlining to check this). Unfortunately this was what was wrong with my Orion...

I recently had a leak which I thought was from my t-tops, and the headling was wet and some mould formed.
I found the cause was I've just had my car resprayed and the windcreen rubber was removed for this.(so wasn't the t-tops).
I took the rubber out and went around with black silicon sealant before refitting it. (you can buy it from halfords, motormania, etc). I got rid of the mould with a solution of diluted white vinegar with water and fabric freshener, though just water/vinegar will do.
