My daughter is 13 and lives with her dad. I live just about 2.5 miles away from them. I see her inter-weekly and she has expressed her want to live with me in that tiime. I have had serious discusions with her dad about this but he is very stubborn. When I told her that he wasnt willing to let her go she was extremly upset, and in the following week she ran away from her dad's house to mine. I was suprised by her efforts at running that far, as she is normally quite lazy, and suddenly realised how ditermined she was to live with me. she had school in the mornig and I don't have a car so I managed to pursuade her to go home for the night. I am in a perfect financial posision to care for her, but her dad still wont let her go after 3 months of this happening. What can I do to get into a position where she's living with me?...x

Hi jeanie. Pardon me being nosey but does she live with her dad rather than you for a reason?
take it through the courts for full custody
Has full custody already been granted to him through the courts with specified visiting rights to you?
