My young sister typed in some family member's names into Google images and to my shock, I came up with my Facebook profile picture visible for all to see. The same happened for other people's names that she typed in. Now, I THOUGHT I'd done all my privacy settings so that nothing like this could happen. I've even stopped my own name and page from coming up when you search for me on Facebook... I've set it all to look like I'm not even on there... so HOW on earth is my profile photo coming up on Google Images???
Can someone please help me by giving me instructions or something on how to stop this from happening? Thanks very much in advance.

because your profile is something everyone will see whether they are yr friend or not ergo it's not, nor can be, set to friends only
Have you doublechecked all your privacy settings in case anything has reset with them faffing about with it all the time?

It is friends only and everything, and yes I've checked that all my settings are private since they've changed it all about again. I don't know what else I could do?
Can you set specific photo album settings such as for your profile pictures?
but thats what i sad - yr profile picture cant be set to friends only, its on yr profile for all to see
if someone went on FB and searched your name they could see your prof pic the same as google
In the Privacy bit there is a Search section, I made such the box which allows your profile to come up on search engines wasn't ticked and my profile picture doesn't come up.

A couple of other pictures I have on there generally do though, just a couple of random ones!

Oh sorry Pink Kittens, here's the deal with the profile picture settings... Like Jenna just said, you can set your privacy settings for your photo albums (One being 'profile pictures')... which I HAVE set to friends only, so yes you can make the profile picture private, you just have to do it to ALL the profile pictures you have as an album...
So that answers your question too, Jenna... I've already set them to friends only.

I asked someone I know who ISN'T a facebook friend to search for me on there, and my name/picture didn't come up at all, 4getmenot.
The same with my friend and all her setting are private or friends only! It's ridiculous!!
you need ot change the search options in your settings, not the photo privacy for profile pics to not show up
