When I enter a number into a spreadsheet, say 1234, it comes out as 12.34, i.e. it divides by 100 all the time. This happens all the time, whether it is on a blank spreadsheet or a used one. I have tried restoring my computer to a former occasion when I knew that Excel worked and it solves the problem. However, I then lose information, a lot of it, that I have entered on MS Access. Revert back to the present day with Excel and I still have the problem. Oh! and I have reloaded MS Office twice and it doesn't solve the problem.

I'm contemplating suicide!
