I have committed the cardinal sin, I have washed my grandsons comforter!!!

He has a baby pillow which is on of those which are about 2" in depth, which he refuses to be without, he also has a 'taggy'
This is a tiny hat belonging to him which he takes to bed along with 'soft cushie' he has to use the tag inside of the hat to press against his cheek......
in a nutshell , they were both minging! but he's so upset to be parted from them, so Saturday, after he stayed with us, I went in his room , grabbed the two items and stuck them in the washer, he was inconsolable and now I feel a right mean cow of a Grandma! other than take them in the garden and stand on them, he will have to accept the nice smell of softner...lol
