Why do people make me feel that I am odd because I like to iron my clothes ?

I always iron all of our clothes (but not bedding) - I am a bit paranoid about the kids looking nice (I don't want people looking at me like I am dragging the kids up because they are scruffy!).

I used to hate ironing but I don't mind it at all now. I have an ironing press and I iron sitting down. It's brill!

I iron most things i.e tea towels and bedding (although my hubby tends to do the bedding). The only things I don't do are towels are underwear. Clothes look so much better ironed but it's surprising the number of people I know who don't iron things. I don't think we're weird, I think people who don't iron are weird lol.

My friend irons in the nude whilst drinking rather large G&Ts.........she calls it a good night in.

I really hate the thought of ironing! but when I get started, takes a while...lol...........then it's fine!..............can't wear clothes that haven't been ironed, and I like my bed linen ironed, never iron undies, or towels, but always do the tea towels.......................

I like ironing and I couldn't wear anything that wasn't ironed. I just hate putting it away.
My daughter works long hours and pays someone to do her ironing. She gets it done for free when I visit.

Oh gran, know what you mean, when it's all done, then it has to go away! worst part! don't ever iron for my daughter! do lots of other stuff! childcare, housework but never, ever ironing!.............where would they be without us grans!..................

I used to spend hours ironing but no more. Washing comes off the line and in the tumble dryer for 10 minutes all creases drop out. The only things i iron are shirts and trouser.
