A friend of mine has just retired and now she can't use the internet at work she needs to sign up for it at home. What is the best deal around at present? She uses BT for her phone. Any suggestions?

That's good Jan......I pay about £30.00 a month for that and I'm a bloody BT pensioner!
craft, the guy on the phone I spoke to even told me that it's an 18 month contract but if after the 18 months you renegotiate (as in threaten to leave) they would probably keep it at the same price!
Yes I'm in the middle of an 18 month contract at the mo......as I said before I may have a look at Virgin Cable as the previous tenant had it cabled up with NTL for telephone and TV.
I'm with BT and they are ace, no problems and though not the cheaspest, it's very easy to get vin touch and they will sort stuff out quickley, we have BT vision too though which is rubbish
I am with Namesco, my daughter set it up when she moved to Prague so I could keep in touch and she pays for it too (lucky me) but she`s in IT so I think they must be Ok and I`ve never had any trouble..
