Sir,
These are the results of the General Election in the UK may 6th 2010
Consvervatives........306
Labour.......................258
Lib/Dem.....................57

It is clear that no party has won, no party has lost and apparently is not a draw........isn't it?

One of the likely outcomes is that the Ruling Party will be composed of the Party with the 2nd number of seats with the party with the least number of seats.

The Opposition Party will be the one with the greatest number of seats.

Got it?...Simple really Robert

Do not take any lectures from the UK concerning Democracy in Zimbabwe.

P.S Robert......thousands were turned away at the Polling Booths

If those wanting to vote made the effort & got off their bvms earlier things might be different, 7am - 10pm to vote & couldn't make it - pah !

Blame the lazy sods.

tambo...some got there one hour and a half before closing time.

One would have thought that turning up at 8.30p.m should get you in.
This is one of the problems of not having a written constitution.
Not laziness, just apathy

Too many people were just voting for Tories/Lib Dem as a vote against Labour cos they just wanted rid of Brown.

Brown wasn't that bad a PM, he just took over at a bad time - Blair bailed out at the right time, whoever took over would've still ended up in the same mess the country is in at the mo

Tories got most seats purely cos people wanted change for changes sake - Cameron ain't no miracle worker, the yanks thought the sun shone out of Obama's rear but soon found out it don't!
I smell the distict whiff of sour grapes from the right wing this morning!

Never fear squad a lib lab coalition government would be really dumb.

Much better to let Cameron run a minority government for a few months, vote down anything too stupid that he tries and force a General election in the Autumn with Liberals and Labour running as a centre-left alliance and not standing in each others constituancies.

Just a question of jumping through the hoops to make it look like all efforts have been made "for the good of the country"

Aren't we all getting tired of hearing all the politicos trotting this out all the time? Who do they think they're kidding?
I ain't right wing - never voted in my 24 years of being eligible, just think they are all a bunch of crooks on the take
Happily though, Cameron wasn't physically attacked by stick-wielding thugs, the national daily papers have been free to campaign for and against the 'ruling' party without their editors being threatened and imprisoned.

Perhaps Mr Mugabe ought to take note of that, too...........?
