Why do I say Dinner on Sunday when we have it at 4pm..and tea weekdays?

Funny we call it dinner on Sundays and tea through the week oop Norf anyway..lol, maybe it is because our habits have changed over the years?
We always had Sunday Dinner at 12 noon when I was a kid, then scones and cake at tea time which was about 5ish..
Now we have our Sunday roast when we like and there's no set time to eat, is it because Sunday is now like any other day...shame really.

We've never had Sunday dinner early.....we couldn't have dinner because the pub closed at 2...so Nan would start preparing it then.

Nah Bobbi,....i was scared by a kid's bible club once on a beach holiday,...i remember we were sitting nice on the sand listening to story of Moses, when they pointed to the sand dunes and a bloke carrying a big stick and wearing a tea-towel over his head appeared.....i was offski >>>>>>> ;-)
