I have been taking driving lessons for around 3 months now and i am starting to get really fed up .I have passed my theory test.I found that pretty easy but when it comes to parking and three point turns, its just not sinking in.I don't know wether its me or just the way my instructor is not explaining properly.Anyway I decided to get a book to help me out.what would you advise.I have seen there are two DSA books .The official DSA guide to driving the essential skills or,The official DSA guide for learner drivers

You can get both books from your local library - I suggest you borrow both and any other books that may be helpful.

If at all possible, practice in someone else's car on a private road (without breaking the law or causing annoyances) - you will be able to take your time without feeling pressured.

Or book another driving instructor for one lesson - tell him or her you want help with manoeuvring. Something may 'click'.

A lot of people have this same difficulty - especially women as the spatial awareness is different. It can't be helped, it's the way we are made.

Persevere, and good luck.
practice is probably the best thing you can do, nag someone you know to let you practice in their car, keep doing the maneuvers over and over, you will be surprised how easy they become
