This is a really daft question but do Ford have an agreement so when cars on TV are shown they are Ford?

I have noticed over the past few months that ALOT of cars on TV are fords.  They dont mention it or anything but whe you see someone driving and it shows the front or back its a Ford.

Its not always the case but more often than not.

Just a general wondering really :)

I don't know about every film, but they definitely sponsor "24" and provide vehicles for the show in the US, and did the same for the live-action "Thunderfords" (sorry, "Thunderbirds") movie.

Product placement is big business. Here's a BBC article on the James Bond film Die Another Day, where a record 44m changed hands for the privilege of having a product on screen.

And here's a memo to U.S. Ford employees from May of this year. It may be a coincidence that you saw a lot of Ford cars on TV recently, but somehow I doubt it.

i've been watching the OC and noticed that the Ford Motor Co get a mention in the credits at the end of each episode...

Ahhh funnily enough it was 24 that I first noticed it in and then I began noticing Ford cars in other things as well.

Thanks very much for your answers I apprciate it :)

In Layer Cake Audi marketed the A4, the Savile Row Co. dressed the cast, Stoke Park received some free publicity.
