Thought I would use this to start a new thread and see what others may say.

I heard Brown say on a local radio station (Radio Lancs) that he "jogs 7 miles in the morning", when asked where he gets his energy from!! Liar liar liar. I would give my house to anyone who can say and prove that he does that!
Who would trust someone who can make such obvious lies up as quick as a flash?
They are all the same anyway! All they want is a cushy number in parliament. My feelings are to vote Green this time round. This lot, like the ones before are a load of num nuts. Lets face it who would allow alchohol companies to put spirits into kids pop to "allow choice" and then wonder why kids have drink problems. Clowns the lot of em! O by the way when will they figure out that Britain is overrun with people creaming off the working man. Instead of doing sommet about it all they do is raise taxes. botox to the lot of em.

Sounds like a good plan. Can't trust any of the main three parties as far as you can throw them to be honest
///The Prime Minister, who is 58, can be seen slogging it out in the genteel surroundings of St James's Park, Green Park and Hyde Park each morning to the surprise of dog walkers.

He is the latest world leader to take refuge in jogging. His runs typically take about half an hour and are said to be "fairly vigorous". He wears a dark tracksuit and is accompanied by detectives.

He has been following the strict regime for a couple of months, according to senior Whitehall sources. ///

I am in no doubt that Brown does a bit of Jogging. The media have been made to show him getting in a car after running lately. However let me just make one thing clear. His statement was six months ago, and obviously he then had to do something about it having opened his big gob without thinking yet again. I can also asure you that if he runs for half an hour he certainly doesnt run 7 miles. He may feel like he has, but believe me I do that every sunday and it takes 2 hrs + min. Sorry Mr Telegraph reader!!
Just a tip for you ...

you don't need to be a Telegraph reader to type 'Gordon Brown jogging' into Google! :-)
Bye the way.. meant to say...

you're probably right about the distance. Though I think you may be using the old measurement of a mile before the Treasury re-calibrated it for statistical purposes.

But apparently you were wrong - he does go jogging - on a regular basis - strenuously - I expect he does 7 miles some days - or cumulatively over the course of a few days -

I hope you're not suggesting that the ex-chancellor is massaging the figures, or double counting or rounding up or rounding down etc etc etc

No im not suggesting.... I am guaranteeing he is making it up. He said “he does several miles every day” Cough cough!! Talk is cheap. Lets see the proof. Like most politicians economical with the truth to say the least.
Half an hour moderate fast walking is all he is capable of, trust me.
Just who is Gordon Bennett?
