One on the telly just now ... Philip Schofield show, not sure what it's called.

A pen, with a USB memory chip.

Instead of writing a note with a pen, and reading it later ... (or typing it up) ...

You can ...

Write a note with your USB pen ...

... connect it to the USB adaptor

... plug it into your computer

... open up the application for the USB pen software

... select the facility for displaying the phone memory

... wait while the software reads your note, and displays it ...

... and then, at last ... read your note !

in the meantime, those of us who use a pen and paper, have read our notes and gone to the pub. You can join us later when you've finished sodding about with you electronic note.

Oh, one more thing ...

It can read your writing ... if you print in very neat, regular letters. You then just have to go back over everything you wrote earlier, and amend all the typos which are introduced by the computer.

Question ... if you are the sort of person who doesn't even have a pen and pad handy ... why would you have a pen with a USB adaptor, and a computer, handy.

That is my nomination for MOST USELESS gadget of the day.

Another interesting use of an apostrophe !
JJ, you could have saved yourself a lot of typing by putting a full stop after Phillip Schofield and leaving it at that.
LOL ^
JJayne, AB will not be the same without you. :-)

As well as that gadget there was a jar of edible flowers which you could put in a glass then pour your champagne or fizzy drink and the flower opened up! Also a brain something or other that didn't work but did so at rehearsals! Watched this while I was ironing why can't they come up with something that irons your clothes folds them puts them away etc!!
oscarina, what you want is something called a 'mother'. I'm not sure if Philip Schofield sells them.
