The girl with the georgie accent used to be in Casuality (paramedic Nikki) and Margaret was in Corrie played Natasha who had a fling with Tony Gordon!!!

When is it supposed to be depicted 1950s? Listening to the music it seems so.
I'm enjoying it for the nostalgia. I was only small then but I remember.

Very good looking forward the the 2nd part. Billie Piper (don't normally like her) was excellent. Someone said the Geordie accent wasn't well done, thats what they all sound like to me

Enjoyed it. Well-acted apart from the love interest trying to speak in Polish briefly. Shouldn't have bothered! Did anyone else think Sue Johnston looked different? Her eyes looked odd. Surgery?
