Enable or Disable Taskbar Thumbnail Preview in Windows 7

I'm trying to enable thumbanil preview following instructions on this page
http://www.mydigitall...-switch-to-list-view/

But when I type in gpedit.msc in the "search programs and files box" nothing comes up.
Am I going wrong somehwere

Which version of Windows 7 are you running? If it's the Home Premium edition, the gpedit.msc utility is not available in that version.

You'll have to do it via the registry as shown in the second block of instructions on your link.
