The [Edited] is a bogus college that keeps the money of students who apply from abroad and deals in dodgy activities like the issuing of certificates to non qualified students. Now someone I know has been trying to get their money back from them for months. Shall I tell them to contact the office of fair trading? In addition, I am looking for a Home Office number to let them investigate. Can anyone provide me with this number (not the number on their website to do with visa applications)?

Looks like the Home Office Select Committee was involved.

Having looked at their website ([Edited]) some of the people having given accreditations down the bottom may be interested!

They're a limited company as well...

An earlier company with similar name was dissolved in 2006 and had a previous name before that (Angel College of London Limited).

Dear All

An official from the college in question has written to The AnswerBank for removal of their name from this post, commenting:

"Our college has never been black listed by UKBA, secondly we
have A class Rating on UKBA register."

As we were unable to find conclusive evidence that the said college is indeed Bogus, we have complied.

All the best,

Spare Ed
