Get a can of Coca Cola (Not diet) and put the brass part in over night. Next morning it will have lost the dullness and all it will need is a bit of Brasso and job done.

Put a load of brown sauce on it -leave it for a couple of hours and then clean it off-tomatoe sauce works as well-honestly.i tried the tom sauce and it did work,someone told me about the brown sauce after id tried the red
