Best printer as regards to ink cost.

I need to buy a printer/scanner but don't want to make the same mistake as before, printer was cheap but ink was costly. What is the best printer to go for when considering the cost of ink?

Two years ago I opted for the Epson Stylus Photo RX425 printer/scanner/copier. It takes four separate cartridges and despite being advised to use genuine Epson cartridges, I buy compatibles from computer fair. Set of four for £5. Excellent value and wonderful quality printing.
