I've lost a few channels and can't get them back

I have lost BBC 1 and 2, BBC 3 and dave - not sure if any others missing but I have rescanned more than once and still not there. grrr

Long time no see!

Struggling on....was gonna be going on holiday in August but not sure I can afford it now. Looking for a new job and found 3 in the paper this week that are within my reach and that I would enjoy so would be nice if I could get one of them.

Turn the set box off, leave for a couple of mins then turn on and rescan. Can't guarantee it will work but it's your last option before having to pay someone.

p.s to my earlier answer, you may not need to rescan. Having had this problem before, a simple power cycle, i.e switching off and restarting the box, often works. Switching off the TV won't help as the digi comes via the box and not the set.

I haven't got a digi box - ive got freeview built into the telly. I will try turning off and on and rescanning in a sec. Thanks Mike x

I have turned off tv, left for a few seconds, turned on, rescanned and seems like the channels are back again now. Thanks :-)

Sorry karma22. Never gave it a thought that you might have an integrated system. Being old-fashioned I have two bits of kit instead of one. Still give it a try though!
