Two weeks ago i had FESS (Functional Endosopic Sinus Surgery) to remove Nasel Polyps and unblock my sinuses. I have been told that it could be up to six weeks before nasel congestion heals. Im feeling much better and the bleeding has stopped. Does anyone know how long before a full recovery will be made? Also when is it safe to begin Runnung and ycling again? My breathing is slowly improving day by day.

My daughter had nasal polyps removed as a teenager and I can`t recall any restricions on exercise afterwards but if you call the ENT dept they will gladly advise you. The best advice I can advise is to take it slowly and build up to your previous level. It must be a relief to be rid of them.
I had this done a few years ago. Had Polyps removed and sinuses completely cleared out. I was of work for two weeks. I don't remember having any restrictions either on exercise. I ride horses for work so I waited a month before rising again.
feel so much better for it. Can breathe through my nose so much better and I have had no sinus infections since.
Sorry "Riding" not "Rising"!
