windows Messenger sign in box

As, I never use Windows Messenger, how can I prevent the sign in box from appearing on my screen every time I boot up. It's driving me crazy! Please can some kind help?

There is an option, "start on sign up", just untick that.

Howver, if you don't use it then why not just uninstall it?

its windows messenger it can't be unistalled , you have to go into
control panel -administrator tools - services - then look down the list till you come to messenger double click it and you can disable it from there

I've uninstall my own, I find that way to be the simplest get it obsolete.

as far as i have always been led to believe you can't i would prefer to uninstall it ,thanks
