My washer as above is beyond repair and I have one of these policies that will replace it when it breaks down. I have just been told today that I need to pay the balance of the full years [premium of £85.00 so that they can organise a replacement machine. I want to upgrade my washer anyway so expect to pay something myself but what I want to know is how much I can expect to get from them for what was a top of the range washer at the time. If I am only going to get £150 then I don't think it's worth it but if I was going to get £250 then maybe it would. They won't tell me the amount until I pay but I am tempted just to tell them to forget it and I will put the money towards a new washer. What does anyone think?
Thanks

they wont give you a top of the range washer now - just what it would cost to buy this or the equivalent of this now. They wont tell you the price either, because they will negotiate on it
