as the majority are wind ups and alias names and probably won't bother if I ignore them anyway. Or i may respond and be confronatational and aggressive, what do you think?

Hi Eddie, each time I have popped in to AB this week there's been a smart @rse name on CB being a numpty, it's bloody annoying hence I found an alternative form of torture
I do that already dot. Most of the time the new names disappear anyway and if it is a real newbie they will hopefully keep posting in different topics so at least you know they can be sensible. I definitely avoid the "Hello, I am new here" posters because I don't think a real newbie would do that. I started by asking questions in quizzes and puzzles.
I'm still relatively new here, but found the place to be fun and informative. it also gives me the 'ocasional' chance to climb up on my soap box and rant.

Basically, I like this place beter than work during the week or tv at the weekend.
well Dot I understand exactly what you mean. I looked in on here a few times during the week and saw the same as you. didn't bother to log on either. it's becoming boring, really.
