Clint Eastwood western

I'm trying to remember a western in which Clint Eastwood plays a preacher. He's a tough reverend, who carries a gun as well as a bible, makes love with a married woman and swings a punch when necessary. His adversary is an equally tough old gun-toter, but there's a supernatural twist too. Clint's enemy, if I remember correctly, is a ghost I think. Any ideas, people?

Thanks Cetti. That's the one. I read the link you sent me and would agree that there are similarities to 'Shane', but with some interesting twists. Eastwood as the tough, no-nonsense preacher is (I think) an admirable character, though respect is due for his adversary as well.
