Which sounds best 'In Remembrance of...' or 'In memory....'

Remembrance and memory are synonyms, so there's no real difference in MEANING, although they may actually be used differently. For example, we do not refer to 'Memory Sunday' each November. Accordingly, each of us will have an individual preference as to the SOUND of the words in whatever context we plan to use them.
If its for a card to put on a wreath or flowers and the deceased is a relation or good friend of yours,I would suggest "In Memory" or "In Loving Memory"
