Daren't post a final thank you just yet, as still some answers to find-but glad someone saw my plea grasscarp-thank you for trying to answer 2 of the questions too.
Also don't know many people called Mr/mrs./Ms England, unless it happens to be a more popular surname away from rural East Anglia!As the number of letters fit, I might go with it though.

thank you grasscarp for continuing to follow up these answers on my behalf. You always amaze me at the links you manage to come up with-just one problem English has more surnames than England, so do you still think its England?I liked Ladyalex's idea of an alternative answer, but unfortunately too many letters.
"There'll always be an English" doesn't quite hang together !
"They'll always be an England" doesn't work either, unless it should be "There'll".
