How many letters though?  I may be wrong - but a clue about the number of letters would help! :-)

I was pretty correct shaneystar - and I offered both alternative spellings - I don't think adding an "s" would have been too much bother for tedsmum.  I also answered the question very quickly. 

Clearly still not good enough for some people.

This was the answer to the clue in Saturdays Daily Telegraph General Knowledge crossword.
I can see you that had the answer.I was just pointing out to tedsmum -That if they post ANY and ALL clues on Q&P they are more than likely to get their answers sooner rather than posting clues ,for example, that are are to do with food and drink or some other subject all over different sections of AB.I am not questioning your knowledge.We are all dedicated crossword addicts over there so I was just trying to be helpful.

Fair enough - in future I'll just direct people back to Q&P to get the advice of the corssword bods and I'll stick to answering other questions.

Makes a pleasant change from the nasties in CB then.  Sorry shaneystar - I really did throw a bit of a sulk didn't I !?! *blushes*.  Just been a bit cheesed off by another user who's been following me round AB "correcting" my answers when they weren't really wrong.  Guess I was being hyper-sensitive again.  On reflection - no offence taken whatsoever - I was being daft! See you around on AB.

I stay away from CB as much as possible now unless I see something worth contributing to!!
I find all the people on Q&P really nice and we are all like minded .
