I have reported Dris's ridiculing and derrogatory post about why my ex husband and I named our kids what we did, she has no right at all to make such a stupid and ignorant comment about another family's choice of names for their children.

The name your child is given often reflects the decade in which they were born. In the sixties there were lots of Summer's, Willow's, Saffron's, Storm, Autumn, Fern, Sky etc.

A friend of mine has a child called 'Betty Butterfly' Poor Kid - she also got a brother with a dreadful name too, but i cant for the life of me remember itt!!!!! and a older sister called Red Roses!!!!!!!!!

When I was expecting my second, my daughter wanted it to be a girl and call her 'Twinkle Star Flower'.. thankfully he was a boy and was named Joe.. But I reckon if he'd been a girl, her nickname would have been Twink! (he is actually nicknamed Pip.. not sure what's worse!!)
