have a look at the vanquis site as also applied to tenant loans and got exactly the same 2 companies as you. don't risk money as i lost ine. vanquis will only give a small credit allowance but charge nothing so they are worth a look. interest high though. other company know of is provident but their interest is massive . to repay 200 i have to repay in total 310 over 31 weeks which is pretty sickening,
check out who the 2 loan brokers were u applied with as i have just found out that advantage loans, tennant loans and cgs are all same company and that their customer services numbers all go through to same call centre!! also really bad reviews on tennant and advantage loans on blagger.com !!
k
pepper who were the 2 loan people you paid as i have just found out that advantage loans, tenant loans and cgs are all the same company and even there customer service numbers go through to the same call centre !!i just spoke to the same girl on cgs, then called tennant and got her again !!![Edited at the request of CGS - Spare Ed].... check out blagger.com for review on advantage loans and tennant !!
Hi, I work for the the second largest bank in the world, and I work as a credit card underwriter. I just have to point out to anyone who is concerned about the authenticity of these so called bad credit/loan lenders that all these companies, including CGS, tenantloans etc are simply brokers. [Edited at the request of CGS - Spare Ed] All they are doing is applying to comanies on your behalf. You can do this yourself at absolutely no cost. [Edited: Capital letters - Spare Ed]

Many of these companies just just submit your details to a large number of actual lenders at the same time and often you may be approved, but only by a sub-prime lender, such as Welcome Finance or Vanquis. Who will approve literally anyone, just they charge ridculous interest rates.

Companies such as CGS simply tell you what cards you can apply for. [Edited at the request of CGS - Spare Ed]. None of these comanies are actual lenders so of course are not in a position to make a decision on whether or not you have been approved.

You can very easily just search for these lenders online and make an application yourself, [Edited at the request of CGS - Spare Ed]. My advice is look carefully at the site, and do some research on the company. [Edited at the request of CGS - Spare Ed]

Dear All,

We would like to ask all users to refrain form posting anything potentially libellous about any company.

We have been contact by CGS to remove certain elements of this thread.

They have taken pains to point out that they offer refunds to anyone unhappy with their service. I suggest you contact them on one of these numbers: 0800 4085 315 or 0871 9115553

CGS have also pointed out they are monitored by The Office of Fair Trading and governed by the Consumer Credit Act 1974. If you wish to contact The Office Of Fair Trading here is their "contact us" page: http://www.oft.gov.uk/contactus

There is also some great consumer advice here: http://www.consumerdirect.gov.uk/ and their number is: 08454 04 05 06
