I have a property which has been up for sale for nearly a year now. I applied for and obtained a 50% reduction in Council Tax last year but am just wondering if I can claim again for this next year?

Generally , and I don't know where you are, an empty property is free from council tax for 6 months and then at 50% until sold.Keep in touch with the council and let them know what is happening to the property. This was the position with my late Uncle's property last year in Lancashire.
