...who is currently being played on some of the less well-reknown music channels such as The Hits and Fizz et cetera ... the background to the video is entirely CGI with the singer (Robert someone?) on a heart-shaped tunnel ride and walking on a tightrope and through green fields, wearing a lopsided black "indie" cap.  He's fairly chubby but cute and blonde...

Me too! The only thing that came to mind was Peter Gabriel's Sledgehammer because of all the CGI stuff but he's not blond, chubby or called Robert!
