Is it possible to download a show from the Radio 2 iplayer (e.g. Steve Wright in the afternoon) and then burn it to a disc?
TIA

You can download the free recording program 'Audacity' from here: http://audacity.freeonlinesoftware.info/ Use this to record from the BBC iPlayer then burn the saved file using 'Nero' or whichever burning software you use. Audacity is also useful for recording Vinyl or Tape and saving the tracks as MP3 files, which can be burnt to CD.
I use get_iplayer (http://linuxcentre.net/getiplayer)

It'll allow you to record any show - radio or TV - for later listening, watching or burning to disc. With Audacity, you'd have to record the whole radio show in real time...
