Well then make sure you have underwear on. You do realise that the people doing the scan aren't in the least bit interested about seeing what you have down below. They won't even be in the room with you whilst doing the scan. If you're whole body is completely underneath the MRI unit they won't be able to see any of you anyway - only be able to hear you.
what about pyjama trousers, they are just pullon and don't take up much room. Good luck mollykins, I hope it goes well tomorrow.
what sized trousers do you wear that you can't just fit them rolled up in a schol bag????
Mollykins, you don't need to worry about the zip. A CT scan is a type of X-ray and a zip is not going to cause any problems.
Huderon: Yes a CT is but an MRI scan is NOT. An MRI scan uses a large power electromagnet.
dizmouk - mollykins is having a CT scan.
Well if she is having a CT scan why has she said she is having an MRI scan? Although even though I made an error which wasn't my fault I have not stated anything to be untrue.
She mentioned she had a CT scan before, I assume of the brain. An MRI scan provides much greater contrast between the different soft tissues of the body than a CT scan does - this is why I assume (also with her saying so) that this was a MRI scan.
Touchy, aren't we, diz? Read mollykins posts and you will see she made a mistake in her opening post.
Yeah I can be at this time of night, although I'm not scared about admitting I'm wrong. I will apologise, I missed that comment. Sorry.
It's a shame none of the people including me saw her thread between 11:36 and 19:00, especially me since it was directed at me. I feel bad, we could of helped her better :(

last time i went for a ultra sound, i was in the same waiting room as other people waiting for ultra sounds, mri's and ct scans and it chock a block and i was waiting for ages, at least i was shorter then, so the gown went to my knees.
When I had a scan they gave me a gown so long that the hem was almost touching the ground.
The procedure was, I was shown into a cubicle where I changed and sat until I was called to the room where the scan took place.
Don't worry. It will be private.
I was given a robe to wear over my gown. Very civilised. Nice blue and white dressing gown.
take a CD as well, they a likely to put it on for you when you are in the scanner as it tends to clank a bit (nothing to worry about) .
