The spring in my neighbour's garden has turned out to be a silted up ditch on the road. After some exploratory weed clearing and light digging the water now runs off the field and straight into the ditch instead of across the road and draining through two gardens before reaching mine. The Council have now taken over and it all appears to have been sorted. Yipee - what a result. Doncha just love a happy ending ?
