This week's offering is "The Glady Marsh" by Salamanca.

This is only the second Salamanca Listener that I have seen that is not part of his Plays of the Bard series.

Another fairly fast grid fill, but before I attempt the instructions, I feel that a small libation is called for.

I enjoyed this one. Nice ending. Struggling with one or two wordplays, particularly 25D. Can only see one possible word for the answer but can't see how the wordplay fits.
Foxy 33, the wordplay gives the second part of the answer first, if that makes sense. Relieved at a straightforward puzzle in terms of instructions, especially with a toddler running around and a new-born making his presence felt (and heard!) Guess I'll be confined to the relatively easier puzzles from now on!
Definitely one of the easier ones, though I thought it was a bit harder than last week's. I was a bit slow at realising the last step, especially given my first thought when I looked at the title. I'd have preferred the title to have more significance than merely proving that you'd got the theme.

Prefer his Bard crosswords - of course winning a prize on one of them does colour your viewpoint :) Time to catch up on my accumulating pile of Guardian & EVs.
Wish I read books with a better memory of what was involved. Had to do a bit of hunting for the relevance but the idea was right which makes life easier. What a strange title - but good fun. I agree that things have been quite easy so far - there must be a stinker due soon.
