I'm sure the answer is Koala Bear but how does it fit with the clue - Does this animal like to stand after knockout? (5,4).

Where the ..ala.. comes in ...not sure .I always find the RT crossword a bit ambiguous.

Just trying to be friendly.  The term 'koala bear' is in common usage here in the UK and throughout the world and also appears in Collins English Dictionary and all the other dictionaries in this building.  However, I sincerely apologise for any offence caused.
