I thought those amongst you who regularly do the m.o.s. puzzles may be interested in the folllowing.
I e-mailed the m.o.s. re the cost of sending the puzzles back and asked if, as they were all going to the same address, they could all go in the same envelope.
The reply I received was to the effect that the Royal Mail pre-sort the post and put all the puzzles into their different departments so it is not practicable to put them all in the same envelope.
Worth a try anyway.

In any case; 1 envelope has only 1 chance of being picked. 5 envelopes gives you 5 chances. The more papers you buy and the more envelopes you send, the better your chances of winning.

True. But I didn't know if the MOS had the faacilities to distribute the different envelopes, enclosed in one larger one, to the different departments once they were in a central point. But obviously not.
It is a small company (not actually the Royal Mail) that opens ALL the letters and then puts the puzzles in their separate boxes. They take off the stamps and send them to various charities. This was stated by Lancelot last year about this So at least some charities gain from this. Not bad eh?
