Hi
In the gooogle tool bar how do I remove the contents of the drop down list created by typing in the search box? Hope that makes sense

It makes perect sense, you need to go into You Tube and download an original version of the Garth Brooks song 'In Anothers Eyes' and then transfer the file to your hard drive.

Press the drop down box, hover the mouse over the ones you want to delete then, press the delete key (located next to the END key on the keyboard).
Assuming that is what you are asking.... I'm guessing that is what you want to do.
On the right of the search box is a arrow. Click on it and then clear search history

My bad, I assume everyone uses Firefox.

Here's how I did it: Clicked on the spanner in the tool bar and unchecked the Store Search History box. Simples
