Hi,

I'm quite an amature with pc tech. but here goes. How do I get rid of my google tool bar which I haven't wanted. I think it appeared with some updating with Adobe but not sure. It isn't listed it my add/remove programme. I find it quite intrusive and don't want it.

Thanks before hand.

You haven't said which browser you are using.
Assuming IE 8 or 9:
At the right-hand end of the toolbar is a spanner icon, and to the right of that is a little dropdown icon. Click the dropdown, then click uninstall.

Here is what happened rojash.....(my computer speaks Danish but I can easily translate it) when I clicked on the uninstall it came back and said I didn't have permission to do so. You mentioned that you didn't know what number I had.....neither do I...would that help...and if so how do I find out what number I have.......
"how do I find out what number I have"
As for just about all programs, you click Help/About.

From your reply, I'm guessing that you are running Vista or Windows 7.
Try this:
Right-click the IE icon and choose Run As Administrator, then follow the instructions in my previous post.
