I have a glass vase in which I have had flowers in the past. But now there is a white film inside the vase which I can't get rid of. I have tried bicarbonate of soda and soap and water but no success. Has anyone out there any idea how to get rid of this white film? I would be grateful for any help.

Have you tried vinegar? That always seems to work for glass....
I agree with dizmouk, white vinegar with some long grain rice and give it a good shake about
If you use the vinegar and then add some hot water it works quicker.
