Hi, anybody shed some light on how to remove handbrake cover /centre console.
i have removed the 2 fixings at the rear sides & unclipped the front section but it still wont lift up enough so i can adjust the Handbrake cable - it has a centre armrest as well. (what am i missing)

Hi, if there is an ash tray within the Console remove the ashtray there should be a X head screw beneath, remove it.

thanks TWR - but i have had another look today & found 4 more screws that hold the centre armrest.
2 allen screws behind the handbrake lever under flat plastic covers, & 2 crosshead screws at the back of the console between the seats (from the rear seating area of the car) under domed covers - these 4 screws secure the armrest to an additional fixing bracket so you lose a cup holder in the rear portion of the centre console.
Handbrake cable now adjusted - - - don't like slack handbrakes (11 notches)
