My Great Uncle had a letter home published in a church magazine [Trinity Presbyterian Church, Clapham, London]. He was killed in action that month - July 1916 - in France. We have the following months issue, detailing his obituary. So we know which volume & issue number.

Any ideas where I can get a copy of the magazine. The Presbyterian's merged with other denominations to become United Reformed Church. The church building no longer exists.

The magazine "The Porch" was a professionally printed work [not something knocked up on a gestetner duplicator]. Do the British Library hold copies of all books and mags printed in the UK? I've tried the London Metropolitan Archive and e-d the Church council. Any other leads I could pursue? Thanks

Good luck with your search - you could also try second-hand book websites. AbeBooks, Albiris and maybe try a search through Bookfinder.
