does any one know anything to soothe burns?

i was cooking sausages last night and as i was lifting them on to a plate to be cut oup some water driped into the fat and it went all over my fingers on my left hand one is realy swollen but no blister just a white mark i did cold water then a lavender soak is ther any thing else i can try?

Better get to the burns clinic and ask for their opinion regarding your injury. It might save you having a very red hand during the summer when the sun gets at the burnt area ( friend of mine has experince of this). THey might prescribe some cream ....that will nurse the skin back.
You have done all the right things .. if it is still sore in a day or so .. or it gets any worse then see your GP or the local Chemist.
You can always try Aloe Vera. If you have a plant break a bit off and put the "juice" on the burn. I've been told this is very good for burns. If it's too bad, though, you should really go and see someone about it.

thankyou for all this imformation and im gooing to make an appointment tonight to see the doctor as its gone purplish and has two blisters and i was a dumbnut and put a plaster on it and it got stuck peeling off the skin!!!!!!
